Executive Functioning skills (EFs) are a set of mental abilities that allow for emotional regulation, problem solving, organization, achieving goals, etc. It is common for people who have LDs to also have a deficit in their EFs; treating executive dysfunction may help reduce anxiety in youth with ADHD.

Elevate is a brand new LDAC-K program, running March 25th – April 29th for youth in our community ages 10-13. A second group will run for younger students, ages 6-9, from May 6th – June 10th. This is an in-person, small group for youth facilitated by staff to make a safe and supportive environment while delivering lessons on the following topics: time management, task initiation, long-range planning, prioritizing, organization, decision-making, sustained attention, emotional control, response inhibition, self-discipline, and flexibility.
